About Detergents
Household detergents are among the most frequently purchased and used consumer products with steady demand and sales and high turnover rates.
The European Regulation (EC) No 648/2004 on detergents defines detergents as „substance or mixture containing soaps and/or other surfactants intended for washing and cleaning processes“. Auxiliary washing mixtures, laundry fabric-softeners, cleaning mixtures as well as other cleaning and washing mixtures are also covered by the term “detergents”.
